Few Trees Reported Down Around The County
Update: At least one house was destroyed and several others damaged during a Sunday thunderstorm.
The Pennville community received the most damage with an Oak tree fell into a house on Back Penn Road. No one was hurt.
A heavy downpour of rain also created dangerous driving conditions around the county. Several trees and puddles of water blocked streets.
Georgia Power and North Georgia Electric report about 600 customers are without power.

A Sunday thunderstorm is toppling a few trees around Chattooga County.
Trees and utility lines are reported down on Halls Valley Drive and Rossville Blvd and other areas. Beware while driving.
Winds have also taken trees down along Hwy. 27 near Walmart. A tree has also hit a house on Back Penn Road.
