Copper Tubing Taken From A Lyerly Business
Someone stole $3,000 worth of copper wiring from a Lyerly business, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
Toshar Patel said someone took copper piping from a compressor behind the former Lucky’s Supermarket. Patel noticed the piping missing on Friday, Deputy Nicole Sprague stated.
“Mr. Patel advised the piping itself was worth between $2000 and $3000, however, it would cost him over $10,000 to have it replaced and repaired where it had been cut,” Deputy Sprague stated.
