$7,000 Bulldozer Part Stolen Off Hwy. 100
Someone stole a part off a bulldozer recently and caused $7,000 worth of damage, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
Businessman Jack Brewer said someone stole the electric joystick at a construction site at 2726 Hwy. 100.
“Mr. Brewer stated he had used the dozer at that property to clear it off but had not used it in around two weeks. Mr. Brewer stated when he came there to get his dozer (Tuesday) he noticed the door that houses the battery was open. Mr. Brewer stated when he got closer to the
dozer that is when he noticed the joystick was missing. Mr. Brewer also stated the wiring harness for the joy stick had been cut out. Mr. Brewer stated that part would cost him around $7,000,” Deputy William Blackmon reported.
