Cloudland Water Customers Will See Rate Hike

The Fort Payne Water Authority that serves about 240 customers in the Cloudland community is hiking rates.

Currently, customers are paying $25.15 for up to 4,000 gallons of water. The new rate is $26.16 for up to 2,000 gallons per month. If a customer uses more than 2,000 gallons, they will pay an extra $6.70 for every 1,000 gallons thereafter.
