Recent Sheriff Reports

A Gore resident is missing $21,000 worth of items from his residence, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.

James Frost, of Foster Manning Road, said someone stole his 2015 RAZR ATV along with a utility trainer form his residence. The ATV had aftermarket wheels and tires, custom headlights, an LED light bar attached to the roof and a decal on the windshield that states, “Georgia Grown.”

The ATV and trailer were listed at $21,000, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.

Deputies also reported during the past week, according to incident reports, that:

  • Ashley Penn, of Glen Drive, Summerville, said someone damaged her black 2003 Honda Accord while she was at a party Monday. Someone struck the front of the vehicle causing damage to the front bumper.
  • Enopheon Wiggins said someone stole her debit card and illegally used it at a local gas station. The clerk at the gas station has video footage of the suspected thief.
  • Someone broke into a Hwy. 337 home in Menlo between Sept. 21 and Oct. 2. Betty Davis said the home belonged to her late mother.

The only things they saw missing were a box of old vinyl records containing approximately 400 45’s and 100 33’s
with a total value of $1,000 and a box of costume jewelry worth $25. The front door of the residence was
kicked in. there was damage to the door frame consistent with the door being forced open,” Deputy Nicole Sprague reported.
