City Pothole Damages Vehicle

A pothole on Fairground Road near the garbage transfer station damaged a Summerville woman’s vehicle yesterday, according to Summerville Police reports.

Preeya Fain was driving her silver 2011 Buick south on Fairground Road around 6:24 p.m. when she struck a pothole. It damaged the wheel and caused a flat tire. The wheel also appeared to be bent on the rim, according to Officer Gary Pruitt.
