Stacy Sue Cothran

Mrs. Stacy Sue Cothran, 49, of Center, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, October 14, 2018, at her residence.

Mrs. Cothran was born in Chicago, Illinois January 29, 1969, a daughter of the late Roy Collins and the late Elizabeth Brown Collins. Mrs. Cothran was of the Baptist faith, and retired from Roper Manufacturing Company in Lafayette prior to ill health.

Besides her parents, Mrs. Cothran was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Cothran, and by a sister, Rebecca Collins.

Survivors include her companion, Floyd Wells of Centre; two sons, James Brown of Trion and Christopher Lively of Summerville, and four grandchildren.  Two sisters, Ms. Tammy Collins of Ringgold and Mrs. Starlit Dover of Rome, two brothers, Bradley Collins of Rome and Michael Collins of Summerville, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Cothran will be held Tuesday afternoon, October 16, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. EDT at the graveside of the Providence Cemetery with Rev. Stevie Collins officiating. Pallbearers will include Reggie Ward, Derrick Dover, Levi Snead, Brian Collins, and Cody Collins.

The family will gather at the funeral home on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. and go in procession to the cemetery.
