Verbal Spat Reported

A verbal spat on Hawkins Drive in Summerville between a 14-year-old son and his father is being investigated, according to Summerville Police reports.

The argument happened Sunday and allegedly the teenager wanted to leave his dad’s house and returned to his mother’s home. During the argument, the father allegedly said, “I’ll break your neck.”

The teenager said he was scared of his dad and the remarks made, Officer Steve Bates said.
