Dangerous Driving Conditions Continue On Taylor’s Ridge

Photographed Today Around 3:30 p.m.
Dangerous driving conditions continue on Hwy. 27 on top of Taylor’s Ridge.
Although the roadway continues to drop, the Georgia Department of Transportation said they would not work on the road for a couple of days, according to Chattooga County 911.
“Per Josh Bryan Georgia DOT: traffic on Highway 27 at Taylor’s Ridge will be open for the next couple of days. They will probably resume work after that, if anything changes he will let us know,” 911 co-director Pam Vaughn stated.
The DOT has erected flashing signs alerting people about road work. They have also installed a “Bump” sign just before the dip in the roadway.
