A gas station worker believes a woman with no teeth and a big stomach stole an $840 cellphone on Sunday afternoon, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports.
Sonya Maples was working at the Pennville Chevron, 12449 Hwy. 27, when she laid her iPhone 7 Plus with its glittery case on a counter. She believes the woman, who was in the store for a long time, took it.
“Miss Maples believes the incident was caught on video along with the vehicle that was at pump 7. However, the owner was not available at the time to check the video. Miss Maples was able to track the phone to a house behind Garden Lakes off Highway 100 in Coosa,” Deputy Nicole Sprague stated.
