Police Reports . . .

The Summerville Police Department reports the following recent activity, according to incident reports:

  • Angel Rae-Ann Hix, 20, of 968 Martin Street, Summerville, was jailed for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on Thursday. Officer Marvin Armstrong III stopped Hix’s tan 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer because of a broken brake light. The officer could smell marijuana and Hix handed over a plastic container with two burnt marijuana cigarettes.
  • Aris Lindsey Odom, 19, of 4105 Spring Creek Road, Trion, was cited Thursday night for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Officer Matt Wilson claims Odom did not use a turn signal at the traffic light on West First Street. Once stopped, the officer said Odom was nervous and he could smell marijuana. Odom handed over a rolled up cigarette with suspected marijuana.
  • Dylan Andrew Herod, 20, of 850 Wildlife Lake Road, Summerville, was cited Thursday for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. Officer Wilson stopped a vehicle on Hwy. 48 at Mason’s Funeral Home for having a malfunctioning tag light and for questions about window tint. Herod, who was a passenger in the vehicle, had marijuana. “Mr. Herod claimed the marijuana,” Officer Wilson stated.
