Burglary reported on Woods Street in Summerville

Someone broke into an outbuilding and residence at 20 Woods Street in Summerville, according to police reports.

Michael and Rebecca Carico reported that someone cut the lock off their shed door and also made entry into their house.

“I did observe the cabinets to be open in the kitchen sink area. Also, the bathroom cabinets were open as well. Mr. Carico said when he left at 7 p.m. everything was closed and locked up. Mr. Carico stated he has been getting all their stuff out because they had to get out of the house,” Officer Matt Wilson reported.

The incident was turned over to the detective division.
