Summerville All-Stars Teams Named; Play Began Wednesday

The Summerville Recreation Center has announced its All-Star teams for the upcoming all-star games which will begin Friday with the 7-Year-Old All-Stars and Monday with the girls 9-10-Year-Old All-Stars team.
7-YEAR-OLD
The 7-year-old All-Star team will play at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe with pool play. Game 1 will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 15 with LFO vs. Summerville. Game two will be Ringgold vs. Summerville at 1 p.m. Bracket play will begin on Sunday.
Members of the team are Andrew Aldridge, Xavier Black, Brody Boyd, Daniel Burke, Hayden Carr, Brooklyn Cash, Caylum Gentry, Caedmon Harris, Braxton Mosley, Daniel Mosley, Braylen Perry, Cianna Stewart and coaches Pam Albert and Lisa Brook.
SIX-YEAR-OLD
The 6-year-old All-Star team will begin pool play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 13 at Boynton with Trion vs. Summerville on Field 4. Game two will be held Friday, June 14 with Summerville vs. LaFayette at 6 p.m. on field 4. Bracket play will begin on Saturday, June 15.
Members of the team are Zayden Brown, Ty Covington, Brylee Dupree, Eden Harris, Callen Kearce, Will Maddux, Sarah Ann McCullough, Sawyer Mowry, Stetson Peppers, Britlee Rutledge, Amiyah Wooten and coaches Shadow Day and Brett Boyd.
7-YEAR-OLD
The 7-year old All-Star team will be hosted by Dade County. Double elimination bracket play will begin this Friday with Summerville vs. Trion at 7:30 p.m. on Field 1.
Members of the team are Sam Black, Mai’Jhor Blair, Coleson Chamlee, Butler Crowe, Kan’Mir Fields, Zaine Griggs, TreVon Groce, Ben Howard, Aiden Lee, James Moore, Blayne Womack and coaches Tad Allen and Cruz Allen.
8-YEAR-OLD
The 8-year old All-Star team will be hosted by Chickamauga. Game one will be pool play held at 6 p.m. with Summerville vs. Chickamauga on Field 4. Bracket play will begin Saturday, June 15.
Members of the team are Payton Cameron, Graysen Carpenter, Josh Duke, Jamir Hughes, Kylor Kellett, Braxton Lamb, Tate Shelton, Mason Teems, Collin Tucker, Nate Ward, Zach Womack and coaches Josh Shelton and Jayce Brazelton.
10-YEAR-OLD
The 10-year-old All-Star team will be hosted by Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe. Pool play Game 1 will be held at 8 p.m. Friday, June 14 with Summerville playing Trion on Field 4. Game two will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15 with Summerville playing Gordon County on Field 4. Bracket play will begin on Sunday, June 16.
Members of the team are Jacob Beasley, Colton Humphrey, Lawston Hurley, Maddux Jones, Aiden Kinnamont, Sam Mobbs, Will Mitchell, Ryan Reece, Michael Smith, Zayden Warren and coaches Steiner Davis and Linc Allen.
11-YEAR-OLD
The 11-year-old All-Star team will host this tournament in Summerville. Pool play schedule has Summerville playing Trion in game one at noon, Saturday, June 15 on Morgan Field. Game two Summerville will play the LaFayette Mud Dawgs at 4 p.m. on Morgan Field. Bracket play will begin on Sunday, June 16.
Members are the team are Brock Cooper, John James, Dawson, Trent Dawson, Brayden Dempsey, Chance Elrod, Kasen Elsberry, Parker Huff, Brian Ludy, Tuff Shepard, Devin Warren, Riley Willis and coaches Fitzgerald Christopher and Brayden Bevel.
12-YEAR-OLD
The 12-year old All-Star team tournament will be hosted by Summerville. Pool play in Game one at 6 p.m. Friday, June 14, Summerville will play the LaFayette Blue Jays on Morgan Field. In Game two, at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 15, Summerville will play Gordon County on Morgan Field.
Members of the team are Caiden Bullard, Landon Carlton, Zayden Cook, Sam Crump, Evan Fletcher, Joel Lowenberg, Mason Majors, Jonathan Mejia, Drew Pullen, Bryson Rutledge, Evan Stephens and coaches Kenny Lowenberg and Lucas Adams.
7-8 GIRLS ALL-STARS
The 7-8 Girls All-Stars tournament will be hosted by Gordon County. Game 1 will be held at noon Wednesday, June 26 with Summerville playing Rockmart.
Team members are Ashlynn Burkhalter, Rileigh Ward, Jashiya Wooten, Ella Ray, Kendra Brown, Annslee Tucker, Tinlee Henderson, Paisleigh Webb, Kelise Walker, Bristol Eager and coaches Kristen Williams and Paityn Williams.
9-10 GIRLS ALL-STARS
The 9-10 Girls All-Stars will be hosted by Whitfield County. They will play Calhoun at 6:15 p.m. Monday, June 10.
Team members are Lauralie Hill, Clara Moseley, Shelly Baker, Emily Hughes, Josie Gazaway, Molly Gregory, Maddie Wheat, Annabelle Brown, Gracelyn Rutledge, Ashlyn Burrage and coaches Fred Hogue and Kennedy Dodd.
