Lost Phone Tracked To House On Highland
A Summerville woman lost her iPhone and has tracked its location to a home on Highland Avenue on Wednesday afternoon, according to a police report.
Keley McGill left her house for about 10 minutes Wednesday afternoon. When she got back home from the store, she noticed her iPhone 8 Plus missing from the house. She used another phone to track hers. Data showed it was located at a house on Highland Avenue.
“[I] went to the residence but was unable to locate the phone. All occupants of the residence advised that they knew nothing of the phone. Miss McGill reported that the number had been changed from the original number. . .” Officer Rickey Van Pelt reported.
The phone was valued at $800, according to an incident report.
If the phone can be tracked.
Why didn’t she show this to a law enforcement that could have obtained a search warrant? ?
