Pit Bull Bites Another; Marks The 20th Dog Bite Case This Year In Chattooga County

A pit bulldog attack sent a Trion woman to the emergency room Saturday afternoon, according to Summerville Police reports.

Kaisha Blackmon told officers that she was interested in a vacant house on Highland Avenue. She pulled into an adjacent driveway at 97 Highland Avenue to ask the homeowners about the empty house next door.

While walking to the house, a white pit bull bit the back of her left leg, Officer Lebron Jackson reported.

The pit bull’s owner said his property has an underground electric fence around his yard to keep his dog from leaving. The owner did not know Blackmon or why she was on his property uninvited, Officer Jackson reported.

Animal control told the dog owner to quarantine it for 10 days, according to a report.

It’s not a Pit??? That’s the same stupid comment the guy made after his Pit Bull brutally attacked my daughter. Cut the crap with these savage beasts. If you own one chain and muzzle it.
