Truck Driver Collides With School Bus Barn

Johnny Worsham, director of Chattooga County School System facilities, said a truck driver smacked into the bus barn on Penn Street on Aug. 26 around 1:25 p.m.

William T. Titus, of Calhoun, drove a Southeastern Freight Lines truck into the bay door while backing up. The building’s bay door was damaged.

“The driver of the truck advised that he did not realize that he had traveled too close to the building until the collision had occurred,” Summerville Police Lt. Tim Fulmer stated.
