A $500 generator is missing from Packer Dairy Road in the Gore community, according to Chattooga County Sheriff’s reports. John Wade reported last Thursday that someone took the generator from his house. He believes a previous guest at his home may have taken it, according to Deputy Nicole Sprague.

The Rome News-Tribune is reporting that an adult golden eagle’s flight path has tracked into Chattooga County. The eagle was trapped and fitted with a tracking device last year.
