(Updated) Sarah Ann Gentry

Sarah Ann Gentry age 81 of Summerville, GA passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018.

Mrs. Gentry was born December 23, 1936 in DeKalb County, AL, daughter of the late Leck and Elizabeth Wells.  She was a homemaker and was Baptist by faith.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gentry was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph “Joe” Gentry; daughter, Teresa (Terrie) Gentry; brothers, Howard Wells, Hayes Wells, Ray Wells, and Morris Wells.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Steve Helton; son and daughter-in-law, John and Teresa Gentry; sisters, Faye Moses, Nellie Cotton, and Katherine Dodd; grandchildren, Will Gentry and Eryn Gentry.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Gentry will be held at 3:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018, at West Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Gentry will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 P.M. Friday.  At other hours, the family will be at the home of Sherry and Steve Helton on Sloppy Floyd Lake Road in Summerville.
