Maggie L. Fox
Maggie L. Fox, age 92 of Trion, Georgia, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Oak View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Fox was born in Trion, Georgia on April 1, 1926, daughter of the late Allen Lester Croy, Sr. and Mae Bell Bailey Croy. She was a member of the Dry Valley Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Grace Sunday School Class, having perfect attendance for over 36 years, and the WMU. She was retired from Best Manufacturing. Mrs. Fox was preceded in death by her husband, Buford A. Fox on August 29, 2012; brothers, Allen Lester Croy, II, James Albert Croy, William Jasper Croy, George Thomas Croy, Alfred Earl Croy, Billy Joe Croy, Otis F. Croy, Allen Lester Croy, Jr., Richard Tony Croy, and Harlon Eugene Croy; and sisters, Ruby Lee Crider, Georgia Daphene Croy McGhee, Raylane Croy and Rosa Crider Croy.
Mrs. Fox is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Buford Lee and Maria Fox and David Russell Fox; brothers, Hershel Croy, Jimmy Croy and Robert Croy; sisters, Ethel Croy DeBerry and Barbara Croy Goss; 7 grandchildren, Melissa (David) Adams, Todd (Gina) Fox, Victoria (Aaron) Hawk, David A. Fox, Andrea Hufner, Daniel Fox and Andrea Caicedo; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; special family member, Phillip Schultz; special caregiver, Susan Bryant; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Fox will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Weaver and Rev. William Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Green Hill Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Schultz, Justin Adams, Casey Adams, Phil Hall, Kenneth Stowe and John Peace. Honorary Pallbearers will be Connie McCurdy, Vickie McWhorter and the Grace Sunday School Class; Peggy Sumner, and the Staff of Oakview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Fox will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
