Thomas Grady “Tom” Henning

Mr. Thomas Grady “Tom” Henning, age 51, of Cedar Bluff, AL, died Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Henning was born May 9, 1967, in Beaufort, SC, son of the late Ronald Edward and Dolores Elaine Mickley Henning.  He was of the Catholic Faith, and prior to his retirement, was employed with Best Manufacturing.  Mr. Henning was a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Anthony Henning; and a sister, Tammy Michele Henning.

Mr. Henning is survived by his wife, April Robertson Henning; son, David Henning (Chrissy Shiroke); daughters, Amber Henning, Samantha Henning, and Elizabeth Henning; step-sons, Brandon (Nikki) Green, Joseph Dutton; brother, Eddie Henning; and grandchildren, Parris Abernathy, Hunter Green, and Cayden Henning.

Funeral services for Mr. Henning will be held at 3:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) Saturday, April 6, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hammett and Rev. Larry Elliott officiating.  Interment will follow in Weiss Lake Memorial Gardens.  Active pallbearers will be Butch Newton, Levi Stallings, Evan Farrow, Javan Cox, David Harrell, Korey Edwards, Matthew Jackson, and Chance Dutton.  Honorary pallbearers will be his co-workers of the Best Manufacturing Warehouse, Kevin Mickley, and Kevin Whaley.

Mr. Henning will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. (E.S.T.) until the hour of service on Saturday.
