Mary Anne Clark
Mary Anne Clark, 78, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2010.
Mary Anne was the daughter of J. T. and Catherine Clark of Menlo. She attended Menlo High School (Class of 1948) where she played basketball and was a cheerleader. She was known for her gregarious personality, ’57 Pontiac, and fearless horsemanship. She attended UGA for 2 years before becoming a stewardess for Easter Airlines in NYC. Later, after she raised her 5 children, she became a successful realtor in Stone Mountain, GA. She was a passionate collector of antiques and loved music. She was a beloved member of the community and a second mom to many people.
She is survived by her children, Michelle Roche, Athens, GA; Kathy Kemp, Cumming, GA; Karen Rice, Cumming, GA; Kim Roche, Glen Ellen, CA; and Thomas Roche, Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Kelsie Rice, Kaitlin Ramspeck, Jeffery Rice, Erik Ramspeck and Anna Roche; sister, Nell Seaton; and brother-in-law, Charles Seaton, Stone Mountain, GA; and their six children, Marsha O’Daniel, Chuck Seaton, Carol Thompson, Cathy Seaton, and David Seaton and their families; cousins, Ethlyn Clark, Stone Mountain, GA; Wallace Clark, Canton, GA, David Chamblee, Alpharetta, GA; and many more.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 P.M. Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Alpine Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Burns officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her name to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
She was a beautiful woman and we loved each other.
