William Alfred Langston

Mr. William Alfred Langston, age 73, of Mentone, AL, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Langston was born April 28, 1946, in Summerville, GA, son of the late Roy Lee and Ona Louvina Goodridge Langston.  He was Baptist by faith, and prior to his retirement, was a self-employed carpenter and cabinet maker.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Langston was preceded in death by his sister, Leona White.

Mr. Langston is survived by his wife, Margaret Eddie Reed Langston; son and daughter-in-law, Nicky and Tina Langston; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Shane Ingram; sisters and brother-in-law, Linda and J. W. Mitchell, Betty Tipton; grandchildren, Michael Langston, Justin Langston, Kallie Ingram, Lane Ingram, and Sydney Ingram; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mr. Langston will be held at 2:00 P.M. (EST) Friday, November 1, 2019, from the Mason Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. W. Mitchell officiating.  Interment will follow in Little River Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Nicky Langston, Michael Langston, Justin Langston, Shane Ingram, Lane Ingram, and Jason Ammons.

Mr. Langston will be in state at Mason Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon (EST) until the hour of service on Friday.
