Shirley Evette Luttrell, 87, Plainville, died Feb. 29 in the Hamilton Medical Center.
Shirley was born in Summerville on Oct. 1, 1932, daughter of the late Theodore R. Lemming and Edna Janie Bohannon Lemming. She was a loving mother and grandmother and member of the Resaca Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Thomas Howard Luttrell, a brother, Ray Lemming, sisters, Margaret Utlezer and Dorothy Parris died earlier.
Surviving are her son, Micheal Luttrell (Lupe), Plainville; daughter, Melissa Van Horn (Wesley), Calhoun; two grandchildren, Natasha Massingale (Chris) and Candice Burkhalter (Chris); four great-grandchildren, Cage, Corban, and Claire Burkhalter, and Bannon Massingale; brother, Ray Lemming, Summerville and sister, Dorothy Parris, Plainville.
Funeral services were conducted March 3 at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Mike Luttrell officiating. Ronnie Langley, Joan Padgett and Laverne Gravitt had charge of music. Burial was in Fain Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Rogers, Wesley Van Horn, Danny Bennett, and Harold Lemming.
Thomas Funeral Home had charge of the funeral arrangements.
