Dies March 3, 2020

Mr. Christopher Scott “Slim” Lewis, 45, Summerville, died March 3 in a sudden accident.
Chris was born in Rome on May 29, 1974, son of Scottie Clark Lewis and Cynthia Hope Smith Cotton. He was employed with Triple J Logging and loved to draw. He was an avid car and truck enthusiast. His daughter, Kaylee Chamblee Lewis and grandparents, Mary Johnston and Bobby and Molee Miller died earlier.
Surviving are his wife, Lisa Lewis; parents, Scottie Lewis and Cindy and Jim Cotton; step-daughters, Amber Bachelor, Abbie Wells and Emily Bachelor and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenny Payne and Mr. Jim Cotton officiating. Interment was in West Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Wayne Rogers, Jason Wells, Michael White, Tad Allen, Austin Kendrick and Kevin Rollins.
Honorary pallbearers were Jessie Adams, Jamie Dawson, Josh Dawson and Wade Laney.
Coffman Funeral Home, Petitt Chapel had charge of arrangements.
