Marvin Edward Peace

Mr. Marvin Edward Peace, age 77 of Trion, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at his residence.

Mr. Peace was born in Trion, Georgia on November 1, 1942, son of the late John Peace and Georgia Brown Peace. He was retired from Riegel Textile Mill and was a member of the American Legion. He was an avid golfer, and loved to fish and read. In addition to his parents, Mr. Peace was preceded in death by his wife, Diannia Peace.

Mr. Peace is survived by his children, Marvin Peace, Jr., Terry Peace, William Peace, Russell Peace, Tommy Tucker, and Kathy Southerland; sisters, Mary Nell Peace, Martha Brown and Pat Parker; brothers, Johnny Peace, David Peace and Randy Peace; 30 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Mr. Peace’s wishes, he will be cremated and the family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
