Dies April 19, 2020

Marshall Dale Buffington, Sr., 75, Welcome Hill Community, died Sunday at his residence following an extended illness.
Mr. Buffington was born in Trenton on Dec. 28, 1944, son of the late Willis “Ted” Buffington and Janie Mae Raines Buffington. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He was retired from Mohawk Industries. In addition to his parents, his sister, Nettie Weeks; brothers, Franklin D. Buffington, Willis Buffington, James Ray Buffington and Donnie Ray Buffington and a grandson, Eric Raines died earlier.
Surviving are his wife, Charlotte Eaker; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Angel Buffington; daughter, Ann Raines; brothers, Bert Buffington and Ronne Buffington; sister, Connie Dilbeck; two grandchildren, Erica Raines and Summer Burrage and a number of niece and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 shelter in place order, memorial services for Mr. Buffington will be announced once the order has been rescinded.
Coffman Funeral Home, Petitt Chapel has charge of arrangements.
