Dies April 14, 2020

Terry Ray Hughes, 46, Ocala, Fla., (formerly of Trion), died April 14.
Mr. Hughes was born March 25, 1974, in Rome, son of Jimmy Ray Hughes and Teresa Ann Tucker Hix. He was Baptist and he was retired from the United States Postal Service. Mr. Hughes had also served as a sergeant in the United States Army. His sister, Kelli Martin; step-father, Phil Hix and grandparents, Jesse Tucker, Jimmy Paul and Sarah Hughes died earlier.
Surviving are his father, Jimmy Ray Hughes; mother, Teresa Ann Hix; step-sister, Heather Robinson; grandmother, Mary Lawson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Due to the current health concerns for our community, visitation and funeral services for Mr. Hughes was held privately for the immediate family only. Private interment was held in West Hill Cemetery.
Mason Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
