The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Department is raising money to distribute gift baskets to residents in the nursing home and other locations this Christmas. The department is raffling Scentsy products valued at more than $140. Tickets are $5 each or three for $10. You can purchase tickets at the sheriff’s department. The drawing is Dec. 6. 

The Summerville Depot isn’t the only location that attracts photographers and steam locomotive enthusiasts. Photographers gathered along the Chattooga River bridge to take a snap of the passing mass of rolling metal. People also gathered on the other side of the river to take pictures as well.
