LifeForce Helicopter was called after a 60-year-old man was struck by a tractor off Old Hwy. 27 around 11:30 a.m. today. The accident happened north of Pleasant Hill Church of Christ where a tractor struck the man on the right side. The man was alert and conscious.

Voters in Trion, Menlo and Summerville are returning to the polls today. There are contested races in these three municipalities.  Polls will close at 7 p.m. Poll workers indicate voter turnout is extremely low so far.
